I had commented about the sort of anodyne and boring text of the prior guest post. That, and the way that it has been trained to prefer generation of text over factual accuracy, makes it somewhat less useful as a google replacement. But the reality is that it is an incredible achievement. Its ability to parse the request from the text inputted, and generate well-written on-point text responses, is astounding. This new post is a great example. It followed your request so carefully, and its response would definitely pass the Turing test, I think we would all have to agree.
I did not believe that this level of technology would be achieved in my lifetime. And as I've played with it more, I've had a chance to think about it more and it now makes sense to me that it is inaccurate. It's much more difficult to know truth from falsehood than to generate text. We humans still struggle with it after all!
